TRAINING
Take this opportunity to learn the basic foundation of badminton. Learn
gripping, serves, stance, preparation, clears, drops, drives, nets, eye
hand co-ordination, timing, introduction to smashes, basic footwork, and
generally establishing the ground work for the next level up!
TEAM TRAINING
Here you transfer your basic training into motivational game play. This
program is based on solidifying the training principles and gearing toward
the improvement of each participant. Benefits include increased performance,
mind-body training techniques, and proper form. Developing strategy, mental
focus accuracy and an instinctual sense of timing is of crucial importance
in badminton. Proper body alignment and biomechanics will be discussed
to reduce the risk of injury. Conditioning skills will be used to improve
agility, quickness, overall endurance and cardiovascular fitness. Get
ready to be smashing and let Jinsong, Lili, Chandra, Jade, Kota,
and Cania whip you into the best badminton shape ever!
PRO TRAINING
The highest level of competitive training provided by GGBC. This ongoing
Pro training focuses on maximum performance for final the breakthrough
to tournament championship! A few select players who have graduated with
excellence from our training programs by their commitment and dedication,
will be exclusively selected by our Coaches (Jinsong
Guo, Lili Zhou, Chandra, Jade Tang Jie Yun, Kota Morikawa,
and Cania Chang) and our premier Coaching team, to train and represent
GGBC for local and national competition. Intensive workouts, drilling,
conditioning, mental and physical strategy, maximum strengthening, and
countless combinations of play-strategy will bring students the confidence
as well as the competitive edge they need to get above and beyond!
